Job Descriptions:
- To be familiarized and to comply with the property management policies and regulations.
- To be totally familiarized with the Front Office procedures and ensured they are being adhered to by all staff.
- Perform night time duty in absent of supervisor and manager.
- Closely work with night time shift leaders to ensure safety to all residents.
- To ensure that the daily guest satisfaction by providing personalize service.
- To ensure the receptionist greet all arriving guests in a courteous manner and check them in efficiently according to established procedures.
- To ensure telephones are answered promptly and efficiently.
- To handle complaints of guests in relations to room or reception/cashier in the absence of the guest relation supervisor and report to the property manager if assistance is required.
- To work and comply with every resident’s request.
- To maintain accurate status of rooms and room count in the computer or manual movement chart.
- To check room discrepancies if any, follow up with DND status and take corrective actions accordingly.
- To ensure all residents requirement are handled efficiently and professionally.
- To assist the guest relation supervisor with their duties if necessary.
- To provide immediate reference to front desk personnel whenever required and resolve efficiently or problem referred. Consult guest relation supervisor or property manager if in doubt.
- To attend regular departmental meetings and training programs.
- To attend that the front desk counter and lobby are maintained in a clean and organized manner at all time.
- To ensure that the supplied stationery in the front desk are well stocked at all times and report to guest relation supervisor on breakdown of equipment.
- To report to the guest relation supervisor/property manager any problem or complaint that requires management’s attention.
- To be responsible for efficient communication within the section and with all other operating sections, i.e. Housekeeping, Sales Office. Etc. to facilitate efficient operation and to work closely with related sections in order to handle inter-section problem promptly and efficiently.
- To constantly do your utmost for and collect better ideas to provide a better service to the guests, improve on the various operations and recommend to the management such ideas.
- To ensure outstanding items that need to be followed up are entered into the logbook and properly handed over to the oncoming shift.
- To ensure outstanding items of the previous shift are being followed up.
- To perform any others duties as assigned by the guest relation supervisor or management.
Job Specifications:
- At least complete Hospitality certificate
- 2 years experience in related field
- Be able to use Ms. Word, Excel, and Internet, Email
- Well understand PMS
- Good English speaking and writing, other languages are benefit
- Self-motivation
- Be able to work under pressure
- Good at communication
